◆ Dialogue with Nature
Franz Brandner Invitational Exhibition
From September 2 to 16, an invitational exhibition by Austrian artist Franz Brandner will be held at the Nowon Art Gallery on the 4th floor of the Nowon Culture and Arts Center. The artist, who has been living in Korea for 8 years and has been actively working in Korea and Austria, has captured the nature of Europe, including Italy and Austria, and the scenery of Korea, his second hometown. About 20 works, including landscapes of Venice, are on display. It is open from 10 am to 6 pm and is free to visit.
dialogue with nature "Modern Art qualifies so long it does not renounce previous creative traditions. Art which can endure should be connected and developed based on the past. Creative work is a way of retreating, cutting oneself off from disturbing influences, which prevent and limit one from understanding oneself. What I find important is the intensive relationship to nature with all its life energy and character, not particularly the biological-academic dimension. That is why the exact study of nature in of its manifestations is the most essential part of my creative art. Life has value and meaning; My desire is to give this message in my work.
◆ 자연과의 대화 프란츠 브란드너 초대전
9월 2일부터 16일까지 노원문화예술회관 4층 노원아트갤러리에서는 자연과의 대화를 주제로 한 오스트리아 출신 작가 프란츠 브란드너 초대전이 열린다. 8년째 한국에 거주하며 한국과 오스트리아 등지에서 활발한 작품 활동을 하고 있는 작가가 이탈리아와 오스트리아 등 유럽의 자연과 제2의 고향인 한국의 풍경을 화폭에 담았다. 베니스의 풍경 등 작품 20여점이 전시된다. 관람시간은 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지이며 무료로 관람가능하다.
자연과의 대화 "현대미술은 과거의 창작전통을 버리지 않는 한 자격이 있다. 견지할 수 있는 예술은 과거를 바탕으로 연결되고 발전되어야 한다. 창작은 후퇴하는 방식으로, 방해하는 영향으로부터 자신을 차단하는 방식이다. 내가 중요하다고 생각하는 것은 특히 생물학적 학문적 차원이 아니라 모든 생명 에너지와 성격을 지닌 자연과의 긴밀한 관계입니다. 그렇기 때문에 자연의 발현에 대한 정확한 연구는 나의 연구에서 가장 필수적인 부분입니다. 삶의 가치와 의미가 있는 삶, 이 메시지를 작품에 담고 싶다.
