As this exhibition comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the process behind these works.

Rather than starting from a fixed idea, the paintings emerged from fragments of memory, emotion, and imagination. I was less concerned with defining clear forms, and more focused on capturing a feeling as it unfolded on the canvas.

Seeing the works installed in a shared space, and encountering different responses, has been both unfamiliar and meaningful. Each interpretation, in its own way, becomes part of the work.
